Roll formed racking uses lighter, standardized components meaning beam elevations and parts can be adjusted with greater ease. They are universal in their design so replacement components are easily sourced through multiple manufacturers. Roll formed systems are more cost effective with less steel in the system and less tie to construct.

Using structural steel in the manufacturing process creates a tougher and stronger product with stronger channel corners and thicker gauge metal columns. Seismic capacity and heavy weight drive the discussion towards a structural design. Even in the case of impact, damaged structural steel sections can retain up to 90% capacity.

We carry an inventory of used racking available that could be applied to your project for cost efficiency. If you are relocating, downsizing, consolidating or upgrading your material handling equipment; we pay for used pallet racking and shelving systems. We have the capacity to dismantle and truck away your old racking on a schedule that works best with your business’ operating schedule. We’ll leave the space broom-clean with anchors cut flush to the floor.

From steel sheets to poles and dry wall to lumber, cantilever racking is the best option for storing long, awkward products and heavy weights. Our cantilever racking systems are easy to install and space-efficient, maximizing the productivity and profitability of your warehouse storage facility.

Single sided systems feature arms protruding from only one face of the vertical column. They are generally installed against a warehouse perimeter wall or boundary line. Loaded and unloaded from a single, dedicated aisle in front of the rack. Single sided cantilever are ideal for tight spaces, smaller inventory volumes, facilities where you want to keep forklift traffic restricted to one side of the row, or in a layout combination with the double sided system.

Double sided systems feature arms extending from the front and back faces of the central upright column. They are installed as free-standing rows out in the open floor space of a warehouse or yard to create aisles of storage. These systems provide full access from both sides, allowing simultaneous loading from aisles on both sides. Best for high-density, high-volume inventory like major steel service centers or large lumber distribution hubs.

Cantilever systems are custom ordered to meet your requirements including the height of the system, the depth of the system, size requirements to meet weight capacities, custom bracing based on the product length and support required, and any pipe stops required to keep the product on the levels if not crated. We can work through your requirements to design the system that safely and efficiently stores your product.

Cantilever systems are finished with a gray powder coating that provides a resilient finish. Specialty colours can also be requested if preferred. As cantilever is often used for outdoor yard storage, requiring protection against the elements, a fully galvanized system is also available to significantly reduce the chances of rusting.

Pick modules range from a simple, two-level shelving system to a large and complex, multi-level pallet racking structure with a conveyor system. These engineered racking or shelving mezzanine systems systems integrate different storage solutions within multi-level work platforms that move product efficiently through a distribution facility.

Racking supported systems can be completed with carton flow systems for streamlined loading and picking processes. Shelving supported systems are all customized with SKU specific shelf spacing and modular drawer systems can be integrated for small parts storage where required.

Conveyor systems can be fully integrated into a mezzanine, multi-level storage system, or stand alone for floor operations. We can create a custom solution utilizing a powered or gravity system with any required accessory, support system, or pack table for your distribution operaations.

Some facilities need more than just the generic, selective racking system layout. High density requirements for fast moving products, maximizing available space, or high volume skids prompt specialty systems or accessories to increase efficiency and flow.

Push back racking is a high-density solution for pallet storage. Systems are typically between two and five pallets in depth, and two complete systems can be placed back-to-back. Push back racking works by placing a loaded pallet onto an empty cart, within a lane. To load the second pallet, the lift operator aligns with the first pallet and uses the load to push it backward. During this action, another empty, nested cart is exposed. The second pallet is deposited and the action continues until the lane is filled.

Pallet flow racking systems utilize a combination of sloped beams and a depth-spanning roller system. There is a wide variety of flow track types designed to meet nearly every application of pallet racking storage, from heavy, poor-conditioned palletized loads to high-SKU pallet flow which offers the most “coverage.” Pallet flow racking systems share a lot of the same mechanics as push back, with less limitation in achieving greater system depths. Although they require higher elevation to create the required slope, and single lane / pallet width for structural integrity on deeper systems.

The roll out racking system increases execution speed while optimizing space and safety. Inventory and availability of raw materials are crucial to the production process, and so the roll out system is designed and build of thick steel and heavy-duty rollers. As a result, this system is extremely durable, and delivers easy access to materials, greatly facilitating material gathering and inventory management. There are different systems for pallet or sheet material storage to meet specific commodity requirements.

Reel racking systems can be custom fabricated for storage and dispensing of wire and cable reels. Our system options are designed for medium to heavyweight, large-sized reels handled by forklifts or special machinery. For heavy weight reels, we offer a custom fabricated bearing system integrated into the reel racking systems. Bearings allow for smoother turning of large and heavy reels making operations smoother and safer. We can alternatively provide cradle style systems for non dispensing storage.

We provide fall and impact protection systems throughout the racking systems and general warehouse. If you require something not listed, we can likely source or fabricate it locally.

Safety bars are used to prevent pallets from falling through beams to lower levels which can potentially result in employee injury and storage rack damage. The bar is inserted across the front and back beams, generally two per pallet position. Commonly referred to as ’cross bars’, ‘skid supports’, and ‘pallet bar supports’, safety bars are an essential component of any pallet storage system.

Decks distribute weight across the beams, improving fall protection while meeting fire code. They are especially important in the event of split or open cases, reducing the chance of errant inventory falling into the racking system. Decking improves small inventory loading and fulfillment while not gathering dust and allowing light penetration to lower levels. Alternatively, punch deck is stronger, smoother and flatter than wire decking. Ideal for storing heavy parts, small stacked items and everything in between. It’s smooth and flat surface won’t snag or tear items during loading.

Row end guards shield sensitive rack-aisle-ends from warehouse traffic and prevent forklift or pallet collision damage. These are installed at row ends as well as tunnel bays to protect exposed frames from impact damage. They are especially beneficial at staging area row ends where pallets are often stored quickly for loading, increasing frame damage risk. Frame guards are installed at the front of the aisle facing racking frames throughout the system or in specific high risk areas. These can be frame mounted, high density plastic to absorb impact or floor mounted steel guards.

Heavy duty guardrails to protect pedestrian areas, angle guards to protect walls and IMP in cold storage areas, column guards to protect building columns, and mesh back panels or rack netting for single row fall protection are additional protection items either stocked or available for order. Flexible shelving systems help organize small parts, cartons, tools, and high-SKU inventory while keeping every item accessible and easy to manage. We offer two main shelving system types, and can configure them as standalone shelving or integrate them with your racking system to maximize space.

Industrial interlock boltless shelving is a space-effective, economical storage system that is very safe for almost any heavy-duty application. The shelves are produced from high strength cold rolled steel and come complete with double-bends on all four sides with closed locking corners.
