The Widespan Shelving Line by Metalware fits in to the world where standard shelving is not enough, but pallet racking is not needed. Also known as E-Series, this wide span shelving product is also great for hand stack operations where heavy capacity pallet racking isn’t required.
BENEFITS OF WIDESPAN SHELVING
E-Series Widespan shelving is quick and easy to install and adjust. Like standard pallet rack beams, Widespan beams are quickly assembled onto uprights, only they are much lighter. Shelf and deck options include partial board, galvanized shelf panels and wire mesh decks. The shelf and deck application can also support various combinations as needed.
1. FRAME CONNECTOR
Connects posts from front to back.
2. POST
Twelve-gauge roll formed post with two-inch slots for easy height adjustability.
3. FOOT PLATES
Anchors the unit to the floor.
4. BEAMS
The main shelf support of the system. Two-inch profile beams made of 13-gauge steel are available in a variety of widths and weight capacities.
5. TIE BAR
Avoid the buckling of longer beams. When placed between the two beams, they also increase the capacity of the shelf level.
6. *WOOD, STEEL OR WIRE MESH SHELF OPTIONS
*A minimum of 5/8” industrial grade particle wood, cut to nominal dimensions, is recommended.
